Jan 2, 200. I wired up the 7 wire plug according the the colors stamped inside the plug. Of course that was all wrong.

and bolted on the emergency chains. Might help.

Had to pound the chain a bit to get that bolt through it.

We stopped in this tiny farming village to unload our leftover fruit & vegetables that we're not supposed to bring into the USA.

Headed home (north), but this is where we turned off last week.

Uh oh! the Hi-lift jack bar is BENDING! This washboard is tough stuff!

bending and twisting too. At least the Lock N Roll hitch can handle all this w/o a problem.

2p. It's only been 90 minutes of this dirt road and the bar is bending a lot worse.

I've clipped the brake wires because they are not doing the right thing.

The trailer is migrating to the passenger side. I dump all the gas I can into the Jeep's tank to get the weight off the front of the TD.

It's 3:26pm and this bar is getting really badly tweaked. If it breaks, I don't know what to do. It doesn't look good.

3:36pm. Still many miles to go

TearDrop is migrating more to the side. This can't be good. If we can just make it to pavement I know it's going to hold.

In case the bar breaks, we are doing what we can to be safe.

4pm, and I'm getting a bit worried about how bad this is bending. We still have miles of washboard to go, then pavement to the border & 200 miles home after that.

After dark, it poured rain all the rest of the way home. 200 miles of rain & dark, and worry.

We got home at midnight, exhausted. But we did make it home ok! :-)

Even though I had to really work at staying left, because the TD was staying right, and the lanes are only so wide

Under the circumstances, I thought this was a pretty good parking job. We've got some things to fix, but we are looking forward to going camping again soon!
